From Gills Bay – St Margaret’s Hope Ferry (Pentland Ferries)
Leave the ferry terminal and pass through St Margaret’s Hope until you reach a T-junction. Take a left turn onto the A961 signed to Kirkwall. Cross all four of the Churchill Barriers following the A961, travelling through St Mary’s for Kirkwall. Proceed into Kirkwall following the A961 past Highland Park Distillery and follow the road to the left down the Holm Branch Road until you reach the roundabout near the hospital. Take your third exit onto New Scapa Road. When you reach a mini roundabout, turn left onto Pickaquoy Road. You will pass Lidl, Tesco and the Co-op stores on the left. Just past Glaitness Primary School, you will see the entrance to the Pickaquoy Centre on the left. The Caravan Park is the next turning on the left.
From Scrabster-Stromness Ferry (Serco Northlink Ferries)
On leaving the ferry terminal, turn right onto the A965 signed Kirkwall. As you leave Stromness, at the roundabout take the second exit and stay on the A965. Continue on this road, passing through Finstown, for approximately 12 miles. On the approach to Kirkwall, you will pass Orkney Golf Club on your right-hand side and then arrive at a roundabout. Take the third exit onto Pickaquoy Road and then you will reach the Caravan Park on your right (which is sign posted).
From Aberdeen/Lerwick-Kirwall Ferry (Serco Northlink Ferries, Kirkwall, Hatston Terminal)
Turn left on exiting the terminal towards Kirkwall. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Pickaquoy Road (with the petrol station on your left hand side) and then take the first right to arrive at the Caravan Park.
